The Waiting Room
An all NEW Salty Slug Short one page comic is up on Thesaltyslug.com.
This one page comic was inspired by the birth of my son. I was trying to imagine what it would be like for him you sit and wait in the same room for 9 months with no change of scenery.
I used ink pens, brushes and black India Rapidograph ink on 150lb Canson paper.
Long Distance relationship
An all NEW Salty Slug Short one page comic is up on Thesaltyslug.com.
So decided to try my hand at a love story this month. This one was inspired by a conversation i heard on the radio about long distance relationships. So I thought about how that would work in my universe and this is what I came up with.
I used ink pens, brushes and black India Rapidograph ink on 150lb Canson paper.

Sorry it's a bit late this month. My studio had no power for a little over a week. I actually have 2 comics planned for this month. I'll get the 2nd one up as soon as possible.

POP! Goes the Wizzle!
Saturday, October 3, 2015
So Inktober starts tomorrow. I thought I'd share my weapons of choice for this challenge. I tried to shoot the photo so you could see the names on the pens. If you have a hard time reading them, post a comment and I'll add the list to this post.
Also, as if doing a drawing a day wasn't challenging enough, I decide to team up with my very talented writer friend Rachel Lareau with each post. She is going to tell the story of each character I post. So that means I have to get the drawing to her so she has enough time write for it and then for me to post everything before the midnight deadline each day.
I’ve decided to attempt the Jake Parker Inktober challenge this year. It’s my first time, and since I had so much fun with the March of Robots challenge I figure this would be just as awesome. So I’ll be posting at least one drawing per day, everyday for the whole month of October. I have a twisted theme planned out in my head already so I hope you like it. I’ll also post what materials I’ll be using. So stay tuned there will be more to come.

A little bit of drawing
I decided to ink a sketch I've had sitting on my drafting table since last year. It was an unused concept sketch from a project I worked on last year. I liked the drawing so I decided not to let it go to waste.
