I decided to ink a sketch I've had sitting on my drafting table since last year. It was an unused concept sketch from a project I worked on last year. I liked the drawing so I decided not to let it go to waste.

I just updated my  weapons in my travel kit for this weekend's Hartford Open Studio. I switched out my copic brush pen for my favorite pentel brush pen. Here is what is in there now:

It took me all weekend but I finally finished painting all 60 of the different resin creatures I made. I decided to do 2 different paint schemes for this little guy. Next step, attach the magnets.

Today was a good day! I had fun sculpting and making my twisty the clown  Halloween costume. I love Halloween !

I'm putting the final touches on "P.S.", the book of the 24 postcard sketches I've been drawing lately. This is the layout for the cover. I decided to color the sketch for the cover, so I used watercolor .

I had planned to take the  Jake Parker  inktober challenge and do a drawing every day BUT as always other projects got in the way. Mr Piggy Piggy Minifigure

I don't normally post things from LEGO but thanks to the new LEGO Minifigures line, my illustrations of Mr Piggy Piggy can finally be in Minifigure form!  That's where the cool pig's head element came from. The head is from an old Indiana Jones set mini. The torso is from a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set. The legs are actually from Sponge Bob's Patrick. The leg decos had to be buffed off and finally the bear and knife accessories came from other old Minifigure sets. Feel free to build your own and post shots. Just make sure to tag me.

Getting back in the game

Trying to get back into the swing of things with a quick drawing . I'm inking it right now and a bit of color later.

My new logo

Almost done with my new logo design! A little more inking , and then scan it into Adobe illustrator . I put a lot of hidden symbolism into it. If you know me and my art you might be able to figure some of it out.
