New sketchbook

Doing a little sketching in my new sketchbook . I was messing around with charcoal and markers seeing what the end result would be.

Sketching another one of "them"

1st wip . I'm still working on the color for the drawing I posted yesterday. I'll share that as soon as it's done. In the meantime I thought I would show you the sketch  I started for the next one. It's on 9x12" Bristol paper.

I finished inking this little guy

2nd wip . I finished inking this little guy. Next, color. I'm trying to decide if I want to do my sickly flesh or some healthy flesh. It's on 6x9" Bristol paper. I used a copic brush and a Pitt pen.

Things on my mind is finished

Final wip . I just finished this little drawing called "things on my mind". I decided to go with my sickly fleshscape color scheme on this little guy. I also played with red a little more then I typically would, but I'm very happy with the end result. I also decided to go minimalist with the background, to focus more on the figure. Plus I hate doing backgrounds. It's on 6x9" Bristol paper. I used copic markers and watercolor.

Things on my mind

I decided to take a break from working on the goblin piece while I figure out what his color scheme will be. In the meantime decided to draw this little guy. So this is the 1st wip . I skipped showing you the sketch phase and went straight to inking . I'm calling it "Things on my mind". It's on 6x9" bristol.

Sketching on the couch

Doing a little sketching while laying on the couch watching Afro Samurai. I'm going on day 4 of the flu and going stir-crazy.

2nd wip . I just finished inking . I was planning on finishing this goblin drawing this weekend along with another piece, but unfortunately I've been sick since Friday. It's on 8x10" canson bristol paper.

1st wip . I finally went to go see the hobbit  this past weekend. So even though there were no goblins in the movie it made want to draw one. I'll ink  and color this weekend. For right now it's a pencil sketch on 8x10" canson bristol paper.

My final wip of this piece. The coloring and background are  done. 8.5x11 on bristol paper. I used pen and ink, copic markers, and acrylic.
